freedom vs disapointment

Finally, two major competitions in my life have just ended. The verdict on SYF isn't out yet but i'm pretty sure we won't disapoint there, debate is abit different.

I don't mean to boast but we went from never getting past the even the preliminary round to semi-finals man. Afterwich, we got mobbed at impromptu just tonight and got a sound thrashing by Dunman High (the judges with the exception of 1 said it was close but i agree with the 1 guy, we got thrashed). We got thrashed yes but we also went alot further than anyone else from fairfield has gone in awhile, for that i think Debate deserves a pat on the back. Right now though i'm crossed between feeling relief at these competitions finally being over and done with and feeling lousy that we lost and that we could have done better.

On the other hand, we've got our work cut out for us next year and RJC under 14s (competition for the juniors) is next wednesday and we're gonna be helping them out.

Know if you'll excuse me i have to immerse myself in computer games for the next 3 hours or so to recover from all the stress and lost time these past few weeks. I'm off
