Old Poetry
-The Night Blooming Flower-Flowers blooming, in the night
Forms of beauty, no fear of blight
Glowing elegance, a precious sight
Petals gleaming, like silver bright
Stars shine, endowing some light
Flowers glow, faces smile in delight
Beds of flower, wrong made right
It grows on, gaining might
Thorns come envious, full of spite
Choking the sun, shadowed the light
Leaves fall, with cutting bite
The flower wilted, thorns uncontrite
Thus is the flower, blooming in the night
The tale of its beauty, and its plight
The vision of death, shadowed by light
The rose is gone, its memory still bright

(Ok, upon rereading it now, i think its really dumb)
-Woman-
Her eyes sparkle, like sapphires fine
Her jet black hair, a smooth silky shine
Her perfect face, like a goddess fair
Entangling men's hearts, without a care
Her hands gesture, the eyes turn to see
Her eyes flicker, enrapturing he
Her looks caress, the resolve wavering
Then she smiles, all defenses crumbling
Her raw beauty, from away captivates
Her single touch, passion activates
Her power over emotions, unmatched by any
That is why a woman, has power aplenty

(This one I like a little bit better)
-A Swordsman’s Tale-
A Swordsman’s tale, is a sad thing to tell
They are full of sadness, of things dark and fell
Living in times of sorrow, tragedy and woe
Foretelling evil, like the ravens and crows
They hold their heads high, with courage and skill
With fox-like cunning, and iron will
They fight their enemies, with bravery and wit
Flashing their blades, they slash through any fix
Always bearing some hate, revenge or grudge
With villains to slay, and paths to trudge
And when the villain is dying, his blood staining the ground
He always has a final blow, the Swordsman’s tale is done
And thus at the end, though the Swordsman may die
He is laid to rest, with peace and salvation nigh

(This one's my favourite of the three, mournful, grand and epic)
-Dreams of the Sun-
The decades have passed
I wait on the shore
Years i have waited
How many more
I have idled in ignorance
Forgotten my dream
The Dreams of the Sun
Nearly lost of gleam
But then I saw it
Visions of glory come
Arise men of Altaron
The past will be undone
Take up your arms
Ride to the forefront
Raise up the banner
The dream has just begun
The day will come
In dawning glory
The scepter and circle
Atop the Citadel's high story
Yes brethren comrades
The day will come
The dawn is breaking
On the Dreams of the Sun

(This one is kinda remniscent of Old Marshall from Animal Farm I think, I wrote it as some extra fluff (as peter puts it) for this project he and I were working on. If you ask nicely I'll tell you bout it)
